Okay. This blog's gonna be back in business. Possibly.
Just saw Sunshine for Yuqi's birthday party, and IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Of course it's a tragedy that Chris Evans dies in the movie. I mean, he's the reason I agreed to watch it in the first place.
But yeah, basically, the it's sorta like Armeggedon+Hollow man. EXCEPT, it's just a mission to revive the sun. Of course the plotholes are weird. I mean c'mon, after billions of years, the Sydney opera house is still there? Pbbbtt. Michelle yeoh's english ain't so bad in this one either. The main character ain't exactly that interesting, nor is he that good to look at(I call him Michael Jackson but..), Chris Evans makes up for that. Add in lots of action. and BAM.
Ps: when you go see the movie, BRING SUNGLASSES. I swear.

Pan's Labyrinth
Freaky S*** mate! Bloody Pale man....Who has eyes on their palms anyway?! Scared the hell outta me! Plus, Yuqi and I were right up on the front row, so yeah, the entire movie was freaky...NEVER WATCH IT AT NIGHT! OR ALONE. It's NC16 for a reason. It's in Spanish btw.
Stay Alive
YET another freaky SOB. Best watched with a group of people you love. That way you won't feel awkward if you scream or hug someone.
Night At the Museum
GREAT FUN! I Loved the Diorama room! The little people were so cool. SO was the entire museum. Ben Stiller's best performance in Comedy besides for Zoolander.
That's about it.

THIS IS BS!
I've been trying to watch Night at the Museum since last year, and until now I have not succeeded! First there was clashes in schedules with my friends, but that's alright, New year's everyone should be free! But NOOO....Parents are being bitches about their kids coming back late during the countdown. So I thought 'tomorrow!' But ironically, the very same people, haven't gotten over yesterday's problem, so no avail. It's dumb that grown-ups spend like all your life drilling in "Forgive and Forget" if THEY'RE ever late or if they wrongly accuse you of something.
So, School's started! Let's do it on a weekend! I get to SC. There's a camp till Saturday! I think' Okay, I'll do it on a Sunday!' Saturday night I get home. My mom tells me I have tuition on Sunday. And I swore I would not watch Night at the Museum on a television screen.
So, forgive me if I say "F*ck this year"

Comedy night

Oh man. They say if you laugh for a minimum 15 minutes everyday your health improves.
I think with these movies I've watched recently I should be able to put off exercise for a lifetime.
Okaay...starting off with Will Farrell's Anchorman: the legend of Ron burgundy. Frat pack movie. So yeah, it's funny, it's lame, it's over-the-top, and has almost all our favourite comedians in it. Luke Wilson, Will farrell, Ben stiller, Jack Black, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn......You know.The usual gang. Basically the story is about an Anchorman(News Guy) and his stupidity.
But if you're looking for more story and more laughs, you should probably check out the Producers. It's a musical comedy about two producers who set out with the ntention of making the worst play in history. Our favourite Funny man Will farrell plays a Hitler worshipper, and if really funny you know, with the german accent, and the songs....Lol. Some really fine singing from all the actors. Haha. Should check out the bloopers from both movies. Oh man....whoo hoo hoo.

OKAY!Update on recent movies!
Seen Akeelah and the Bee, Monster house, Saw 2, Casino Royale.
Akeelah and the bee, was kinda good, except there is only so many things you can do in a movie whereby the kids are only required to s-p-e-l-l to succeed. But I really enjoyed the film. Lawrence Fishburne did a good job as her mentor and father figure.
Monster house was funny, but it was CRAP. Come ON! watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about.It's so unrealistic! The kids can handle dynamite and not blow themselves up. Like HELLO?!
Saw 2 was gory.Gorygorygorygory. The starting was this guy with the contraption around his head, and he has like 1 minute I think to dig out his eye to get the key before the device snaps shut around his head. I won't say anymore. I'll give it away if I do.
Casino Royale is currently the most enjoyable Bond film so far. Amazingly there are no cheesy lines, not much boring dialogue, A lot of action, and Daniel Craig did pretty good actually. But I still don't see him as a Bond. But the first chase scene was AWESOME!

The Rock

It's The rock mania!
Actor of the month!And he should be!
Recently caught four of his films,The scorpion King, Be cool, The rundown and Walking tall.
Now the scorpion King is pretty enjoyable,although the story ain't really that good, but the action is worth it.Plus Kelly Hu and he don't look bad together.
The Rundown is just really really funny. It also shows why you should never trust anything about the rainforest. Seann William Scott is just really really annoying in this film. So it's great!Cause he's supposed to be annoying! Except he pissed off the Rock so much. But it's one of those great summer films. No thinking required.
Be cool is pretty boring, except for a few highlights(The rock being Gay...),like the music video.Which you can see in my other blog.
Walking tall is pretty cool. Pretty short though.It would've been nicer if they showed a little more.

Shrek 2, Amelie

I don't know why everyone keeps saying Shrek 2 is a nice show. It's just so typical. Fairy tale crap. The only nice things about the movie is when Donkey turned into a horse and Puss-in Boots being so verbal ("you still look like an ass to me"), and the trumpets guy who played the Hawaii Five-O theme. That made me laugh out loud. Oh, and the music. Not their singing music, but the music in the background.
Amelie is a Foreign film, which is probably why I didn't understand a word of it and constantly have to look up and up and up and down because of the subtitles. But it was a very funny movie. Amelie herself is very fun to watch as she's such a weird character.

It seems that I can't get enough of Johnny Depp films.
Watched Sleepy hollow.....It wasn't really scary...but his character fainted six times in the film anyway.But you really never expected a Tim Burton film to be NC16.But the Headless Horseman was so cool!He was dreaased in this really cool black armour...And it was a really gorgeous horse..
Speaking of horses, Depp actually bought the horse he rode in the film after he heard that it was gonna be put down. Sorta like Viggo Mortensen and HIS horse Uraeus.Of course they wasn't gonna put it down.

YES!FINALLY!
Okayy........managed to rent ANOTHER Johnny Depp Film.(Don't give me that look)
Nick of time.He looked so blur.Basically it's something like Firewall. Do what they want, or never see you kids again kinda thing.Pretty watchable.
Also got Napoleon Dynamite.It's really really lame.Sorta Zoolander-ish.

Right, but still, I recently just finished watching Saving Private Ryan. Really great war show.....Very touching, very real and very ......violent.Well it's Spielberg!What did you expect?!Friendly aliens?!Oh wait, he DID make a movie about a friendly alien.

To those who haven't watched it, (What's wrong with you?!), you really should.
Tom Cruise is a really good actor.I don't see a reason to hate him just for something so trivial as jumping on Oprah's couch.I mean come on!She can afford a new one. Unbelievable idoits. A guy jumps on a couch and gets his career ruined. Another guy cheats and his wife and AHEM, fornicates with another girl and gets her pregnant before they're divorced and he STILL and his ****ing career.Ridiculous.

Cry-baby & Big fish

Yeah..recently seen Cry-baby and Bigfish.Depp and Burton again, But in two completely different movies.
Cry-baby is sorta GREASE-like,musical love story kinda thing.sadly the singing is NOT by Johnny Depp,but the Lip-syching is.And he also had to do the dancng.Not my favourite of movies.But it's kinda funny.
Big Fish is mostly about....a big fish.Kinda long and draggy.Not my favourite Tim Burton movie, but the ending was really sad.Worth your time.
